Technical information on website accessibility

This website is partially compliant with the Act on the Accessibility of Digital Public Services, due to the shortcomings described below.

Content that is not accessible

The content described below is not fully accessible in one way or another.

Area map

Find the area is an illustrated map of the camping area. It is used on the website both as an image and as a downloadable pdf. The image contains information about the area, parking and nearby areas for activities. This poses a problem for a visually impaired visitor or a visitor with a reading aid.

The map is not intended for navigation and is therefore exempt under Section 9 of the Act on Accessibility to Digital Public Services, but is something we wish to find a better solution for.

How we tested the website

We have done a self-assessment using Skellefteå municipality's internal tool for testing skellefteacamping.se and byskehavsbad.se

Through a review tool, we let the automatic tool review pages and functions on the website. The tool provides a list of clear problems and potential problems mainly linked to WCAG but also problems beyond WCAG. Problems that cannot be fixed editorially are reported to the web provider (Sitevision.se).
