Booking terms and campground rules

This regulates booking, stay, use of accommodation, camping pitches, and other facilities with us.

The terms are established in accordance with Swedish law, camping industry practice, and guiding recommendations issued by the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).

Booking and confirmation

A booking becomes binding once it has been confirmed, and the guest has received a booking number. Confirmation may be given verbally, in writing, or digitally.

When booking via the website, a written confirmation will be sent by email. If confirmation has not been received, the guest is responsible for contacting the campsite immediately. The guest is responsible for verifying that all details in the booking confirmation are correct.

According to the Act (2005:59) on distance contracts and contracts outside business premises, there is no right of withdrawal concerning accommodation, lodging, or leisure activities with a specific date or period. This means that bookings for cabins, rooms, and camping pitches cannot be cancelled after confirmed booking.

Minimum age requirement

To make a booking and enter into an agreement, the guest must be at least 18 years of age. The campsite reserves the right to increase the minimum age during certain periods.

The campsite may refuse to check-in or cancel a booking if valid identification cannot be presented.

The guest is responsible for accompanying minor travelers and for any damage or rule violations caused by them.

Payment and fees

An administrative fee of 150 SEK applies to bookings made by telephone or email. Online bookings and same-day drop-in bookings are free of charge.

Payment must be received by the campsite no later than 22:00 on the booking date. If payment is not received, the campsite reserves the right to cancel the booking without liability for compensation.

The campsite reserves the right to require advance payment, a deposit, or credit card details as security.

Cancellation, rebooking and cancellation protection

Without cancellation protection

The booking is binding upon confirmation. In case of cancellation without cancellation protection, the full booking amount will be charged in accordance with these terms.

  • Cancellation no later than 15:00, 3 days before arrival → 50 % refund
  • Cancellation later than 15:00, 3 days before arrival → No refund

Discount codes and promotions

Any discount codes, campaigns, or special offers must be entered and activated at the time of booking in order to be valid. Discounts cannot be added, adjusted, or applied retroactively after a booking has been confirmed.

Rebooking for the purpose of obtaining a discount, promotion, or offer that was not applied at the time of the original booking is permitted only if cancellation protection has been purchased and must be carried out in accordance with the applicable cancellation and rebooking terms. The campsite reserves the right to refuse adjustments that conflict with these terms.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in is from 15:00 for cabins and rooms, and from 12:00 for camping pitches. Check-out must take place no later than 11:00 on the day of departure for all accommodation types. Late check-out without approval may result in a charge equivalent to an additional night’s stay.

The campsite reserves the right to refuse check-in in cases of unpaid bookings, incorrect information, security risks, or violations of applicable terms.

Late arrival and no-show

If the guest has not checked in or contacted the campsite by 17:00 on the day of arrival and no valid cancellation has been made, the booking will be considered a no-show.

In the event of a no-show, 100% of the total booking amount, including additional services and fees, will be charged. The campsite has the right to terminate the agreement and release the accommodation or camping pitch from the following day without refund.

Booking transfer

The booking is personal but may, subject to campsite approval, be transferred to another guest. Reception must be contacted in advance, and the new guest must be registered. An administrative fee of 150 SEK applies for such transfers.

The original guest remains responsible for the booking and payment until the transfer has been confirmed by the campsite.

The campsite reserves the right to correct obvious pricing errors, technical booking errors, incorrect discounts, or misuse of promotions.
Incorrect bookings may be cancelled without liability for compensation.

Force majeure

The campsite shall not be liable for failure to fulfil its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to, extreme weather, power outages, governmental decisions, pandemics, labor disputes, operational disruptions, fire, flooding, or other unforeseen events. Right to refuse or cancel a stay

In cases of rule violations, disruptive behavior, safety risks, threats, intoxication, or violation of the law or rules of conduct, campsite staff, guards, or police have the right to immediately cancel the stay and evict the guest without refund. Complaints

The guest is obliged to inform the campsite staff without delay of any defects or deficiencies in the accommodation as soon as they are discovered. The campsite has the primary right to remedy the issue.
If this is not possible, the guest may be offered alternative accommodation subject to availability. Complaints submitted only after returning home do not entitle the guest to a price reduction, as the campsite has not had the opportunity to remedy the fault.
